LASH EXTENSIONS COMPREHENSIVE COURSE

next class - December 20th & 21st 2024

For students with no experience or minimal experience with lash extensions.

In addition to learning the essentials that apply to all things lash extensions from the Milady curriculum (as listed below) the class includes the following:

Learn custom mapping and styling based on what the client requests, what their natural lashes can handle, client’s eye shape, face shape, lifestyle and budget.

Learn and have the option to practice with the following lash extension types (and learn what they are ;) – classics, flat / ellipse, YY, W, clover, fairy, promade / premade fans in light to mega volume diameters, spikes / closed fans, narrow fans, wide fans, short stem fans, mid stem fans, long stem fans, flat based fans, narrow / pinched base fans, fans that wrap around the natural lash, double layer fans and more. 

Learn about all of the different lash curls and lengths and when to use them appropriately. 

Learn how to create the following styles (and learn what they are ;) and how to mix them to customize each set for every client – natural, wet look, mascara look, angel set, hybrid, volume, mega volume, wispy, spiky, fluffy, partial set.

Learn lashing in layers and creating a dark lash line at the base, and how to create a soft / staggered top-line vs. uniform top-line,

Learn correct placement and isolation techniques for a uniform look and great retention, and to protect the health of the natural lashes.

Learn how to do a thorough consultation before the appointment so you can manage your client’s expectations and give them the best experience possible.

Learn what to include in a consultation at the end of the service so you can go over aftercare with your client and set them up for success and amazing retention.

Learn about lash adhesive and how to choose the best one for you, and how and when to use additional products during the service to make application easier and maximize retention.

Find out why it’s no longer necessary to learn how to make your own volume fans (this is considered controversial by some lash artists and educators ;). There have been so many advances made over the last few years (they even make promades that wrap around the natural lash), and amazing retention is possible without making your own fans - we would love to teach you why and how.

Watch a live demonstration of an experienced lash artist / educator lashing a client and ask questions as they come up.

Practice on layered lash mannequins and a live models during class so you can leave with the confidence to continue practicing once you get back to the real world.

The cost of this class also includes a one-on-one three hour follow-up training session (with or without a live model - your choice) with our instructor to be scheduled within 3 months of your initial class, after you’ve had time to practice and have come up with more questions and want to do some possible troubleshooting.

Milady, Advanced Services: Eyelashes curriculum is provided via an online platform up to a month ahead of time after enrollment so you can master the essential theory at your own pace, and therefore allow for more advanced learning and hands-on practice while in class. 

$900.00 for our two day course: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm each day. The instructor will be available until 7:00 pm for casual training and Q&A.

The supplies you need to practice in class are included. Our $300.00 supply kit is optional and contains everything you need to go home and lash models with high quality supplies. This price is my cost, and many supplies you will not have to purchase again.

There will never be more than 4 students in one class in order to ensure as much personal attention as possible from our instructor. 

Please arrange for your own model for your practice set in class on the afternoon of day two. If you are unable to find your own model, please let me know at least a week ahead of time so that I can find one for you. 

LASH EXTENSIONS REFRESHER COURSE

next class - January 11th 2025

If you already have some lash extension education under your belt,  and / or have some decent experience with lash extensions, but you still feel like you have more questions than answers or want to learn more, come for my one day refresher course.

You will have access to the same Milady curriculum and learning as the two day course and we’ll focus on troubleshooting, Q&A and how to be successful now with a plan for what to do next and into the future.

$450.00 for our one day course: 10:00 am to 6:00pm.  The instructor will be available until 7:00 pm for casual training and Q&A. We will have supplies on hand for you to practice in class.

LASH EXTENSIONS ADVANCED COURSE

next class - January 4th 2025

If you have mastered classic lash extensions and want to take your lash artistry to the next level this is the class for you.

You will still have access to the same Milady curriculum and learning as the two day course so you feel confident in your foundation knowledge and skills. 

We will review everything listed in the comprhensive course, but spend extra time learning and practicing volume, hybrid, mega volume and custom lash techniques other than classics. We will focus on advanced styling, lashing in layers, textured techniques such as wispy and angel lashes, advnaced isolation skills, lash placement, retention, creating symmatry, and offering a luxury experience so that you are able to charge top price for your services. 

You will practice on a realistic layered mannequin so that you will feel confident taking your new skills back to your current lash practice, and be able to offer your clients countless custom options, including being able to duplicate / customize an inspiration photo that they want for themselves.

$450.00 for our one day course: 10:00 am to 6:00pm.  The instructor will be available until 7:00 pm for casual training and Q&A. We will have supplies on hand for you to practice in class.
